There are many possible different aspects to take into account in order to draw up a quote for a specific text or interpreting job. It is impossible for me, therefore, to specify the rates to be charged for any of these services. I promise you, however, that I will provide you with an itemized, competitive and negotiable quote for any project you might offer me. In order to draw up that quote I will require you the following:
Translation and proof-reading – Please provide me with the following information:
- A copy of the text to be translated/proofread or a short example of it.
- The total number of words to be translated
- The format of the text
- The deadline for the translation/proof-reading service
Interpreting services -In this case I would need you to inform me on (should be of):
- The subject of the translation
- The context and location where the service is to be provided (of the service – maybe better)
- The approximate length of the translation
Shortly after receiving this information I will provide you with a detailed quote. This quote is in all cases subject to negotiation until a final quote is agreed. This final quote must in all cases be accepted by both parts and will be valid for three months.
N.B.: In any case, a surcharge of 30% will be charged for those services to be carried out within 24 hours after notice.
